Cangelosi Dance Project is non-profit 501(c) 3 dance organization based presently in Baton Rouge, LA for the past eight years and began the mission in Atlanta, GA 1994 as a performing company. The company’s vision and direction are guided by artist, Kris Cangelosi with six to eight performing artist per year. Her choreographic works are known for their highly energetic movement, vigorous ability and creative concepts that tend to be about gender, faith and society issues. Cangelosi Dance Project offers Baton Rouge community a main stage series as well as touring to cities for concerts, festivals, fringes and educational purposes. The Company has performed in Madrid and Barcelona Spain, Edinburgh, Scotland, Austria, New York City, Chicago, Palm Springs, Columbia, SC, Atlanta, GA, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia, Alabama, New Orleans and several communities in Louisiana. Cangelosi’s work “Glass Ceiling”, “Caught”, “Poison”, “Seasons”, “Louisiana”, “Sister’s Cry” and “Breathe with Us” performed by six to nine dancers have thrilled audiences across the world with her unique style for seventeen years

Presenter/Organization agrees to provide the following:
1) Performance Floor: Needs to be wooded sprung floor. Marley cover and size/dimensions can be determined between artist and the organization.
2) Professional Sound system CD player.
3) Proper Dressing rooms, bathrooms, water fountain.
4) Professional technical crew to operate lights, sound and backstage.
5) Proper staff for ushers, lobby area, tickets, and personal needs for the public and performers
6) Advertising the performance and providing the public with on- site information about the performance
7) Photo session before or after the performance with artists, performers, presenters and supporters for media to be used by both organizations for upcoming promotions
8) Provide the Playbills for all shows agreed upon
9) There is no nudity with artist/s
10) Technical time for dancers and crew at least the day before or three hours before start time of the first show
11) Transportation to and from the venue and accommodations when necessary (Overnight stay)

The Artist will supply the following:
1) Choreography discussed with presenter for the contracted show on professional artists selected by Cangelosi
2) Time required for the performance including intermission and pauses when necessary
3) Costumes, props, and all objects related to the choreography
4) CD’s and back up of music
5) Clean up dressing room used by performers
6) Artist, Kris Cangelosi is the stage manager for the show unless indicated by another artist or theatre policy

Required to give a dollar fee range. Please indicate your range with concise descriptions of activities at the upper and lower ends of the scale

Performance Concert work: Main Stage Performance

Fee range: $3500.00 within 100 miles of Baton Rouge, LA
Fee range: $5000.00 100 miles outside of Baton Rouge area, LA
Each additional performance at the same location: $2000.00

Teaching Educational Programs Lecture and Demonstration:
One 45 minutes lecture/Demonstration
Fee range: $500.00 within 100 miles outside of Baton Rouge area, LA
A lecture/demonstration on the background of jazz dance and the each generation of style of each will demonstrate the Blues, Classic, Swing, Latin, Rock and Roll, Motown, Disco, Rap, Techno, and Contemporary dance. Participants will be involved in a short dance demo at the end of the lecture
One educational Program Lecture outside 100-250 miles of the of East Baton Rouge Parish
Fee range: $1000.00
Transportation:
1) Organizer and artist agree on the transportation and organizer/presenter pays for all transportation four weeks before performance
2) Hotel arrangements agreed between the artist and organizer four weeks before the performance
3) Presenter/organizer must provide artist with location, policies, and all information of theatre before contracting.
Master Class: One hour master class taught by Kris Cangelosi is free to the public if company performs more than one show
Master Class: One hour master class taught by Kris Cangelosi is contracted by the organizer if the company performs one show.
